Letter from the president
Dear Colleagues and members
On behalf of EAVA executive board let me welcome you all on EAVA . Despite the relatively recent foundation of the Egyptian Association of Vascular biology and Atherosclerosis ( EAVA) and thanks to the sincere effort of the board members and the employees of the society, a lot have been achieved. The Cardiorisk project to study the risk factors of the Egyptian patients with ACS is going well and the phase one results were published and presented in the annual meeting of the European society of Atherosclerosis May 2015. EAVA is now a society member and accredited by the international society of Atherosclerosis (ISA) and the European society of Atherosclerosis (ESA) . Scientific activities included not only the annual Board Certified Coarse (BCC) held yearly in May and the annual Cardiorisk congress in November, but also included a series of CME waves all over Egypt . We are looking forward for more activities to serve the society objectives, to decrease the burden of CV disease in our community and to share research and educational activities with the international cardiology societies and foundations .
